History of the school

Montfort Matric Hr. Sec. School was founded on 15.06.1994 by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel.

Montfort Matric Hr. Sec. School is named after its Patron Saint, St. Louis Grignon De Montfort who believed in the allround development of the Youth.

The school is managed by the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, members of the Religious Congregation internationally renowned for their service in the field of education. They have highly reputed schools in about 25 countries in the world.

Our school believes that education consists not only in academic studies but also stresses on character moulding andpersonality development. We aim at the total development of the whole Person, making the student well integratedspiritually, socially, intellectually and culturally.
